transportation alternatives for each link and restricting the routes to no more than one intermediate stop (for example, Plant to Warehouse#1 to Distributor#2). There were only 6 routes in the example 1 Plant, 1 Warehouse, and 1 Distributor.

number of transportation alternatives for each link and chooses which day to produce,
which day to depart (and arrive) for each link and the products and quantities for each load.
Of course, also simultaneously optimizes production sourcing (which plant will produce this copy of this product) and scheduling for each plant
(when will this copy be produced and on which production line) and the daily inventory at each location (including "expiration date", "born-on date", "product age" and other inventory policies, if desired). |
